5 Arrested For Killing Migrant Worker Over



5 cow vigilantes have been arrested and 2 minors detained in Haryana
New Delhi: A man was allegedly killed by five cow vigilantes in Haryanas Charkhi Dadri after it was suspected that he had eaten beef. Additionally, two minors were also held in connection with the incident.
According to the police, the accused planned to kill Sabir Malik, a laborer who had moved to Haryana from Bihar, since they thought he had eaten beef.

On August 27, the suspects summoned Malik and another laborer to a store with the intention of selling empty plastic bottles for scrap. The two laborers were thrashed by the seven suspects there.

On social media, a video of the beatings had gone viral. The other worker is being treated at a hospital, while Malik passed away from his wounds, according to the police. On August 27, a few people reported to the police that they thought meat was being cooked in a slum. After the police arrived, samples of the meat were taken and submitted to a lab. Two of the laborers were then taken away by the accused, who bashed them," police officer Bharat Bhushan stated.

He declared that an investigation and action by the police will follow. These five males are Sahil, Abhishek, Mohit, Ravinder, and Kamaljit.
